A typical laminate combines materials such as PET, aluminium foil and PE, each chosen for one job: print, barrier or sealing. Bonded together, they cannot be separated, so most multilayer packs end up in landfill or waste-to-energy. Single-polymer, or mono-material, structures solve this by building the whole pack from one polymer family.
Uses MDO-PE or BOPE as the printed outer layer and PE as the sealant. It suits stand-up pouches, detergents, frozen foods and many dry foods.
Uses BOPP as the printed outer layer with a cast PP or metallised BOPP inner layer. All-PP is a natural fit for snacks, biscuits and confectionery, which already run on BOPP-based laminates.
